ALL SERVICES VIA VIDEO CONFERENCE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
We provide a Psycho-Educational Batterer's Intervention Program for male and female perpetrators of domestic violence. Our program is based off the Duluth Model of Domestic Violence Intervention. We provide intakes and evaluations for individuals mandated by Suffolk and Nassau County Courts, Child Protection Services, New York State Parole, Suffolk/Nassau County Probation Departments, and other local referral sources. We also accept individuals from the community who are not legally mandated, but are voluntarily seeking out Domestic Violence Intervention/Batterer's Services for themselves and their loved ones. Our program is a minimum of 32 weeks for successful completion, however sometimes the recommendation is for a longer stay in the program. We provide group and individual services. We also facilitate offender groups that are specific to parenting themes.
We provide a 12 week (Minimum) Anger Management program for mandated offenders and volunteers. This course contains topics such as: Identifying emotions, Healthy Vs. Unhealthy coping strategies, Managing Triggers, Deep Breathing/Relaxation Techniques, Consequences of Anger and more. Please note you will receive a Domestic Violence Evaluation during your evaluation for Anger Management. Those who are deemed appropriate may attend Anger Management after successful completion of a DV program.
We provide Mental Health evaluations for individuals referred by Suffolk County Courts, Child Protective Services, Suffolk County Probation, etc. Mental health evaluations take 1-3 sessions to complete. We ask that you/your referral sources provide us with all necessary documentation ( i.e. arrest reports, addendums) prior to your appointment.
